As a passionate child & adolescent psychiatrist, Dr Karunagaran is committed to providing appropriate evidence-based treatment whilst being inclusive of the patients’ families. She enjoys supporting the mental wellbeing of young adults and is dedicated to working with all facets of mental health. Dr Karunagaran is skilled in the assessment and management of psychiatric disorders specific to children, young adults and women’s mental health.

She has more than 10 years of experience working within the field of Psychiatry and has done the majority of her training in Toowoomba and Brisbane. Since completing her training she has worked in public, private and not for profit organisations including working in both the inpatient & outpatient settings. As a Toowoomba resident for the past 10 years, Dr Karunagaran is excited to offer her services to the people of Toowoomba & surrounding areas.
